Join us for an Advanced Yoga Teacher Training and Retreat by AV STUDIOS – Gratitude Village, held along the breathtaking Pacific coastline of El Salvador at Mizata Resort.

Designed for teachers and dedicated practitioners, this immersion blends advanced vinyasa, yin and restorative yoga, meditation, sound, and ritual in a setting created for both study and renewal. Dive into El Salvadorian culture, Spanish speaking immersion, and community building.

Led by Amanda Gloria Valdes (500-Hour E-RYT, YACEP) with guest teachers Aloe Adoricion (200-Hour RYT) and Christopher Stanley (500-Hour RYT).

This training is eligible to be banked toward your 300-Hour RYT and Continuing Education through AV STUDIOS – Gratitude Village. The 100 hours can be counted as continuing education hours (C.E. Hours via Yoga Alliance).

Teacher Training

Our training and retreat offers a week long immersion , training manual + 1-Year Teachable Access, 100 Hour Continued Yoga Alliance CE hours, option to bank for a 300 Hour with AV Studios Gratitude Village, ability for continued mentorship with AV Studios.

Enjoy beautifully prepared meals from Mizata’s onsite restaurant, Nawi - catered to your dietary needs. This premier beachfront school offers a cold plunge, sauna, and a private pool. Each participant will receive a massage on site scheduled at your leisure. On site booking support for external excursions such as horseback riding and surfing.

  • Booking with someone is not required! We will pair you with a like minded community member and will introduce you before our time at Mizata.

  • International flight to El Salvador Airport. The retreat costs cover one group transfer from/ to San Salvador airport to/from Mizata.

    Those exploring alternative routes my choose to rent a car from El Salvador airport. It is approximately a 2 hr drive. to Mizata from the airport.

  • No, you do not need to be a certified yoga instructor to join this retreat! Those wanting to deepen their practice in this incredible setting are encouraged to join.

  • This is an RYT training and attendees will receive a 100 CE hours and training also qualifies for 300 hour certification with AV Studios.

    This training includes 50 hrs advanced creative sequencing, 25 hrs yin and restorative, 25 hrs sound meditation and a bonus Herbalism module.

  • Teotepeque is located in the southwest region of El Salvador, with trpoical hot and humid weather. We recommend breezy clothing, lots of sunscreen and bug spray!

    The resort is quite remote and we recommend packing all of your favorite travel needs and remedies. All props and mats will be provided. We will send a full packing list upon booking.

  • Payments plans are available. Following your required reservation deposit, payments are split up leading up to departure.
