THE GATHERING:
TIERRA & TIDES
November 9 -15, 2026
by
Amanda Gloria Valdes
Join us for an Immersion Retreat by AV STUDIOS – Gratitude Village, held along the breathtaking Pacific coastline of El Salvador at Mizata Resort.
Two Pathways, One Gathering
TIERRA & TIDES offers two ways to experience a week of practice, restoration, and connection. Designed for both dedicated practitioners and yoga teachers, Tierra & Tides offers a thoughtful balance of retreat, advanced study, cultural immersion, and meaningful connection. Together, we will explore creative vinyasa, yin and restorative yoga, meditation, sound healing, ritual, plant medicine exploration, and community service in an environment intentionally curated for both learning and renewal.
Set along the Pacific Coast of El Salvador, this experience invites you to deepen your practice while immersing yourself in local culture, Spanish language exploration, and authentic community connection.
Led by Amanda Gloria Valdes (E-RYT 500, YACEP) with guest teachers Aloe Adoricion (RYT 200) and Christopher Stanley (RYT 500), Tierra & Tides welcomes those seeking personal transformation as well as yoga professionals looking to expand their teaching toolkit.
For teachers, the retreat may serve as the beginning of the AV STUDIOS — Gratitude Village Advanced Studies Pathway, with the option to continue into our Fall/Winter 2026–2027 hybrid continuing education program. Participants pursuing the optional training pathway may apply eligible hours toward continuing education requirements and future advanced study through AV STUDIOS.
